BDO launches Technology Risk Advisory Services

BDO Cyprus is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Christos Makedonas as the Head of our new department, Technology Risk Advisory Services. Our objective is to support and provide innovating services and solutions to our clients and the local market in regards to Digital Assurance, Forensics, Cyber Security, Data Privacy and other Technology Advisory related services.

Christos has 12-years experience in Cyber Security, IT Audit and Digital Forensics, holding various professional qualifications in his field of expertise. He is also the president of ISACA Cyprus Chapter (previously known as the Information Systems Audit and Control Association). Prior to joining BDO, Christos was leading the Data Privacy, eDiscovery & Digital Forensic, Cyber Risk & Incident Response services at a one of the big 4 firms of accountants.

We are delighted that Christos has joined BDO. His experience in forensics, data protection, Cyber Incident Response and Crisis Management will allow us to assist our clients in managing and dealing with the threats and challenges of the digital era and the strict legal requirements to protect personal data.
