GENERAL MANAGER
ST RAPHAEL RESORT, LIMASSOL is a 5 star, privately owned, award winning property that was the first hotel on the island to specialise in offering deluxe Ultra All Inclusive package holidays, among other board basis options. Set in 43,000m2 of landscaped gardens, the resort consists of 272 bedrooms and suites and a 237 berth private marina. The resort is open all year round and has one of the largest selection of conference and meeting rooms available to attract group and incentive business throughout the year.
Job Duties:
- The General Manager will supervise and manage all daily hotel operations.
- We are looking for an experienced industry leader to guide the success of this exceptional product by implementing strategies and initiatives to realize the property’s vision while continuing to position and operate the property appropriately in the market against all competitors, realizing the revenue, financial and guest service goals established, all while inspiring a high performing culture.
- To deliver distinctive and memorable service and exceptional operational standards, realizing the objectives of the ownership.
- To cultivate a supportive and productive relationship with internal and external partners.
- Monitor and approve all sales, purchases, salaries and expenses of the hotel.
- To assist department heads in the interpretation of financial data and recommend courses of action to maximise profitability.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years working experience as a hotel General Manager in a 4 or 5 star property
- University Degree in Hotel Management or any other relevant field.
- Experience in hotel operations, budgeting, forecasting and marketing
Professional Skills and Personal Characteristics:
- Ability to work in all departments of the hotel
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of dynamic and dedicated managers and staff
- Fluent in written and spoken Greek and English. Any additional languages will be considered an advantage.
- Able to communicate effectively with staff, owners and guests at all levels
