JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking to recruit a dynamic individual based in Nicosia as a full time Content Writer in English.
The successful candidate will be responsible to write creative travel stories and experiences about Cyprus or other places.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop content writing strategy
- Write/Edit video scripts and travel articles that captivate readers
- Finding and developing new ideas for web content.
- Creatively communicate these stories to different platforms including; magazines, press releases, websites, social media, e-newsletters and brochures
- Writing web content based on material supplied
- Edit and proofread the work of other team members.
PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellence in written English and grammar
- Be enthusiastic about travel and experiences in Cyprus
- A university education in journalism or communications.
- Experience with the subject is preferred.
- At least two years professional experience as a writer and editor
- Ability to identify stories and communicate them accordingly
- Outstanding verbal communication and presentation skills
- Creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability, and originality
- A strong commitment to responding to and following up communications requests
- Excellent multi-tasking skills and the ability to meet multiple deadlines
- Professionalism regarding time, costs, and deadlines
