Με αυτά τα λόγια, η πρώην ΥΠΕΞ Eρατώ Κοζάκου Μαρκουλλή αναδημοσιεύει το ρεπορτάζ της guardian, στον προσωπικό της λογαριασμό στο facebook.«Ο χρόνος σταμάτησε 40 χρόνια πριν. Η ζωή πάγωσε, τα αντικείμενα ακίνητα, θαμμένα στη σκόνη και την αχρησία. Όλα γίνονται αντικείμενο περιέργειας και εξερεύνησης από τους ξένους. Αυτούς όλους που ο ανθρώπινος πόνος του ξεριζωμού, ο πόνος για τον αγνοούμενο συγγενή, για μια πατρίδα που ματώνει μέσα στην κατοχή και τη διαίρεση, αυτός ο πόνος δεν τους νοιάζει. Δεν προκαλεί ενδιαφέρον. Όμως η σιωπή και η εγκατάλειψη της νεκρής ζώνης ελκύει το μάτι του φωτογράφου. Αξιοπερίεργο, σπάνιο, ασυνήθιστο, θα τραβήξει την προσοχή του θεατή!».
