Anastasiades briefed Egypt’s Sisi on Israel & Palestine
President Nicos Anastasiades had a teleconference with the President of Egypt Abdel Fattah El-Sisi today, while in Brussels.
The discussion followed Anastasiades meeting on Wednesday with the President of the European Council Donald Tusk, Government Spokesman Nikos Christodoulides said in a written statement.
According to Christodoulides, during their conversation, President Anastasiades briefed President Sisi on the results of Nicosia’s initiative for the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu and the President of the Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas to be invited, separately, to the European Council.
