A 15-year-old was arrested attempting to break-in to a jewellery shop in Limassol using brass knuckles, police reported on Thursday.
According to a police statement, authorities received an anonymous call at approximately 3:15pm that a youth was attempting to break the glass window of a jewellery shop using brass knuckles.
Police reported that officers immediately arrived on the scene, where they attempted to stop the 15-year-old, who was also holding a knife along with the brass knuckles.
In an attempt to stop the youth, one officer was kicked and insulted.
