Kasoulides to discuss Brexit, Cyprus issue in London
Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides is heading to London on Thursday to discuss the Cyprus problem and Brexit, the press and information office reported on Tuesday.
Kasoulides, who is the head of the Committee of Ministers of the European Council, will meet with the Head of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs Crispin Blunt on Thursday morning, while in the afternoon he is expected to speak in parliament.
In the afternoon Kasoulides will meet with Minister of Europe Sir Alan Duncan, to discuss the Brexit and the Cyprus issue.
Kasoulides will then meet with the General Secretary of the Commonwealth, Patricia Scotland, and after take part in a working dinner of the Commonwealth Ministerial Action Group (CMAG).
CMAG, of which Kasoulides is the president, is made up of nine foreign ministers from Commonwealth countries, and works to guard the basic values of the organisation.
On Friday, Kasoulides will preside over the CMAG policy meeting, and along with the other ministers be received by Prince Charles.
