Cyprus FM sends message of hope that Greece find a solution
Harris Georgiades, the Finance Minister, expressed his hope that Greece come to a solution with its Eurozone partners soon, and start its path to recovery, while he added that prolonging the solution and remaining in uncertainty would not be a good development.
Georgiades spoke with Radio Proto, where he has asked about Greece. He said that there wasn’t something new to report on Greece’s troubles at the negotiating table. The Finance Minister did say however, that it is not a good development that negative questions keep coming out about the Greek economy for such a long period of time. “The sense of certainty and trust are necessary for an economy,” he said on the radio program.
In reference to the Cypriot economy, Harris Georgiades, said that putting his optimism aside, he is worried about some withdrawal signs and premature termination of necessary attempt to reform the economy. He said that we must continue forward with the same intensity and seriousness, in order to reap the positive outcome.
