Bank deposits increase in September
Bank deposits in September have increased overall by 225.6 million euros, the Central Bank of Cyprus has said in a press statement.
According to the CBC, total deposits in September 2015 exhibited a net increase of €255.6 million, compared with a net increase of €440 million in August 2015.
The annual growth rate stood at -0.7%, in comparison with -3.1% in August 2015. The outstanding amount of deposits reached €46.6 billion in September 2015.
Total loans in September 2015 exhibited a net decrease of €163.3 million, compared to a net decrease of €89.5 million in August 2015.
The annual growth rate stood at -2.5%, remaining unchanged as compared with August 2015. The outstanding amount of loans reached €61.2 billion in September 2015.
