ETYK’s headlock attack on banks

An all-out attack against the Bank of Cyprus and Hellenic Bank has been marked by the Cyprus Union of Bank Employees (ETYK), since bank employees are accusing the banks of seeking abolition of their agreements.
More specifically, they accused Bank of Cyprus that, one the one hand, it still promotes an opaque bonus-giving, while on the other pleads for the abolition of wage scales, supplements, increases, ATA, promotions, reduction of contributions to Provident Fund or radical differentiation of timetables.
At the same time, ETYK calls on Hellenic Bank workers to abstain on overtimes, while calling them to attend a general meeting to be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Organization’s offices in each province.
