George Y. Yiangou LLC is seeking to recruit a CORPORATE LAWYER FOR THE CORPORATE ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT

Qualifications/Essential Skills:

· LLB degree in Corporate/Commercial law.
· Member of the Cyprus Bar Association for a minimum of 3 years.
· Minimum 3 years of practical experience in company formation, administration and secretarial services preferably in a legal environment or similar consultancy firm.
· Familiarity with Cyprus Companies Law, Anti-Money Laundering legislation and overall knowledge of the legal system regulating or relating to Cyprus companies.
· High standard of confidentiality.
· Excellent knowledge of English and Greek Language (speaking and writing).
· Familiarity with Infoscreen Quorum.
· Excellent communication, organization and planning skills.
· High sense of professionalism, able to work on his/her own initiative and coordinate with other professionals.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Ensure the organization’s overall compliance with the regulatory framework, anti-money laundering legislation, standards and relevant regulations and directives.
· Support in the development and implementation of the firm’s anti-money laundering regime.
· Incorporation of companies in Cyprus and various jurisdictions.
· Preparation and submission of documents to the Cyprus Registrar of Companies.
· Communication with local and international banks and preparation of documentation for submission to banks.
