Cypriot Paralympian 'Princess' set for IPC Championships
Cypriot Paralympian swimmer Karolina Pelendritou is set to take part in the IPC European Swimming Championships on Tuesday.
Pelendritou, who is visually impaired, is to take part in the Women's 100m Breaststroke.
The IPC European Swimming Championships are being held in Funchal, Portugal.
The 29-year-old has won gold medals and broken records in national and international games as well as winning two gold medals, one silver and a bronze in three consecutive Paralympic Games.
Due to her achievements she is known as the ‘Princess of the Pool’.
