Cyprus make final preparations for Serbia friendly
Cyprus boss Christakis Christoforou is making his final preparations today as he prepares to lead out the national side against Serbia for a friendly clash on Wednesday.
Monday’s training session was completed without any injury concerns with all the squad participating normally, except for Omonia winger Dimitris Christofi who continued his individual programme as he races to be fit for the game.
Cyprus will complete their last training session on Tuesday night 20:30 (Serbia) at Uzice City Stadium. Then it will become clear if Christofi is likely to be involved or not.
The match is scheduled to take place at 6:30pm (Cyprus) at Uzice City Stadium.
It will be Christoforou’s second game managing the national side after replacing Pambos Christodoulou.
Cyprus lost 1-0 to away to Ukraine in the former Apollon and AEL manager's debut in the Cypriot dugout in March.
