Supporter "outrage" at GSP and Antonis Papadopoulos toilets
Football supporters attending games at Nicosia’s GSP Stadium and Larnaca’s Antonis Papadopoulos Stadium have expressed their “outrage” at the state of toilets.
Fans visiting the stadiums told SigmaLive – Greek in a joint statement that "it is inconceivable for supporters to see broken toilets, no toilet paper, flowing water or soap, and the icing on the cake, the walls are crumbling."
Supporters added that "teams must respect the fans and not just their own [interests]."
Finally, the supporters called on the relevant departments to take note of their complaints.
GSP Stadium is the island’s biggest stadium and hosts Nicosia giants APOEL and Omonia, while Antonis Papadopoulos Stadium is home to Anorhosis Famagusta.
