Cyprus condemns Paris attacks
The President of the Republic of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades condemned Friday night’s terrorist attacks in Paris.
“I condemn with abhorrence yesterday’s terrorist attacks in France, in which dozens of innocent people were killed and many more were injured,” President noted in a written statement. “Such cowardly acts are causing the outrage of the international community and every citizen,” he added.
President Anastasiades stressed that such criminal acts aimed at innocent and unsuspecting victims only succeed in forging the will for a joint and decisive action by the international community against terrorism.
Finally, President Anastasiades expressed deep regret and sends via President Hollande his sincere condolences to the families of the victims and the French people as a whole.
