Two earthquakes hit Crete’s sea region

Two tremors struck at the sea region off Crete’s eastern coast on Thursday, the Athens Geodynamic Institute announced, without causing any injuries or damages.
 
The first 4.2-magnitude quake was recorded at 15.56 local time at a focal depth of 10 klm, in the region between Crete and the island of Kasos, while the second one struck three minutes later at 15.59 local time further north.
 
The tremors were felt in the town of Zakros and Sitia.
