Crete shaken by 4.3 earthquake
A 4.3-magnitude earthquake occurred on Monday morning in the maritime area south of Crete.
The Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens reported that the earthquake occurred 94.5 kilometers south of Heraklion.
The Institute also announced that the earthquake took place at a depth of about 10 kilometers.
Earthquakes have historically caused damage across central and southern Greece, Cyprus, Sicily and other neighboring regions.
